In this lesson you will focus on how volcanoes have a very serious effect on the lands and people around them when they erupt. The effects of volcanoes can be both positive and negative.
Step 1 – Read the ‘Positive and Negative Effects of Volcanic Activity’ PDF
Step 2 – Open and read the 'Effects of volcanic eruptions' link
Step 3 – Open and read the ‘Positive and Negative Effects of Volcanic Eruptions’ PowerPoint. Do not print the worksheet out. On a piece of paper write a list of all the positive effects and a list of all the negative effects.
