Religious Education – Bibletime
Over the next few weeks you will be focusing on the life of Jesus and why Easter is significant. You will be able to access the Bibletime booklet which is made up of four lessons. One lesson only should be completed each week.
I hope that you found the story of Jesus’ resurrection very interesting last week. This week we are going to look at the story of the Lord Jesus leaving.
Lesson 3 – The Lord Jesus Leaving
Bible Focus : John 20: 19-29; Luke 24: 50-53
Key Verse : Luke 24: 51
In this lesson you will learn that Christians believe that God speaks to them through the Bible. You will also learn that the purpose of John’s Gospel is stated in John 20:31- that those who read it might believe and have eternal life.
Step 1 – Read John 20 : 19 – 29 and Luke 24 : 50 - 53 (You can access this by opening the PowerPoint)
Step 2 – Complete Lesson 3 only (The Lord Jesus Leaving)
