Watch and read the story of the Gingerbread Man on the powerpoint. Would you trust the fox to help you run away?
Can you retell the story to your family? Play pretend and ask your family to be the other characters, or you could use these stick puppet templates to retell the story. You could even make your own.

Read story together with support as necessary. Talk about story.
Encourage the children to try to write some one word answers to the questions. Talking about the answers is super if the questions are too tricky.
Use the word bank to help the children try to be independent.
