We have learnt so much about bridges including those which allow us to get from one side of a river to another. Now we are going to look at rivers and why they are important to us. Read through the following slide and discuss it with an adult.
So we can see that rivers have many uses. Which of these do you think is the most important? What would happen if we didn't have rivers? Choose 3 uses that rivers have and research these using the internet or any books you might have at home. Use the information you find to compete a fact file using 'Investigating Rivers' worksheet 3A.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
