Compassion
Thanks to the generosity of our whole school community for the past five years, we have been able to sponsor two South American children through the 'Compassion' charity.
Yasli
Age : 7 years old
Country : Nicaragua
Language : Spanish
Family : Yasli lives with her grandparents on a farm on the plains of Los Mercados.
Home : Their farmhouse has a dirt floor, bamboo walls and a tin roof.
Food : The regional diet consists of maize, beans, bananas, chicken, bread, beef, rice, cheese and potatoes
Andersson
Age : 11 years old
Country : El Salvador
Language : Spanish
Family : Andersson lives with his father who is a field worker and his mother who is a maid.
Home : His house is made of wood and plastic, but lacks drinking water and a sanitation system.
Food : The regional diet consists of maize, beans, bananas, chicken, bread, beef, rice, cheese and potatoes.
Through our sponsorship, Yasli and Andersson are being provided with love and care. They receive nutritious food, health education, medical check-ups, learning support and everything they need for school. They also have the opportunity to learn about God's love through their attendance at church and Bible classes.
