Infant Children Using the Roamer Term1 1986
The photos have a specific date to them as the young teacher who appears in the third picture is Mrs Patterson who taught for a number of years in the school! She did teaching practice in Elmgrove for eight weeks and happened to look through the site.
My thanks to Donna Gray who has been able to name some pupils in the photos.
The boy in the top picture sitting down is Philip Woods, the girl in the third and fourth picture is Michelle Legge and the one in the 5th and last is Colin Brennan
Obviously an infant class. Roamers were particularly popular in classrooms in the mid/late 80s and early 90s although still used today. No other details are available. If you know anything about why the photo was taken or can name anybody in these photos contact us.
