I received an email from Mr. Clemitson's daughter who was able to fill in some of Mr Clemitson's details.
He retired from January 1972. The photograph shown was taken at my wedding in August 1969. He subsequently died on 4th October 1979,aged 69, from a heart attack. He was completely committed to furthering the progress of Elmgrove, but retired a few years early to enable his successor Jim Hunter to take over. I hope that this information is helpful to you.
