HOME SCHOOL LIASION
We believe that parents play a vital role in their children’s education and we sustain a positive learning partnership between home and school. Parents are provided with clear information about the school’s curriculum, organisation and day-to-day life and work within the school. We encourage parents to support their own child and be involved in all relevant aspects of school life. We believe that the support and contribution of parents are the key elements in the success of the school and their views are sought by way of consultation when new initiatives are being introduced. Parental enquiries or concerns are dealt with sympathetically, promptly and effectively.
“I think the school provides an amazing, caring environment for my son and that the staff go above and beyond their jobs for the children.”

Seesaw is an app which allows both parental and child engagement. Staff can share pictures of the children and their work with the parent. Parents are able to use the messaging function to contact the class teacher. The use of Seesaw allows the parent to step into the classroom and see the wonderful learning that takes place.
Elmgrove Primary School and Nursey Unit has an active Facebook and Twitter account. These are used to celebrate success as well as sharing information to parents/carers. We also have a school website and use email and text messaging service to inform parents of important information and letters.
