EastSide Learning
In Elmgrove, both our school and our pupils have benefited from a very positive relationship with EastSide Learning for a number of years now. Established in 2014, EastSide Learning’s overall aim is to help and support children in East Belfast to develop their abilities; reach their potential and experience success; whatever their background. Connecting communities with schools, EastSide Learning provides strategic support and oversees interventions to improve outcomes for children and their parents. As per their Framework document, their current priorities are: building aspiration and improving achievement, development in Early Years, supporting smoother transitions, valuing all educational pathways to enrich learning and finally collaboration and working in partnership across the community. Our school community experiences the benefit of these priorities in so many ways; from a fantastic Early Years Network, to the annual Reading Fair, to recent transitional events such as P7 Careers Day. Thank you EastSide Learning for your fantastic work! For further updates on what EastSide Learning offers, contact info@eastsidepartnership.com
