Nurture Provision
Our Nurture Group provides short-term, focused support for children who may be experiencing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges that can affect their learning in the classroom.
The group is small, with up to 10 children, and is led by a teacher and a classroom assistant. This allows us to create a calm, supportive environment where strong, positive relationships can be built. Staff act as caring role models, helping children develop confidence and important life skills.
A key part of the nurture experience is sharing food together at breakfast or snack time. This offers valuable opportunities for social learning, where children can practise listening, taking turns, and considering the needs of others in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
