Just been on the Elmgrove site and looking at the photos of room 6 1960s i think the teacher in question is Miss McMurtry she lived of the Beersbridge road and was a friend of my parents she was also a very active member in McQuiston Memorial Church.
I myself am on this photo ,i am the one with the bow, back row 4th from the right and the girl beside me is Ann Millar my best friend all through Primary school .We lived in Dunraven Parade i think Ann still lives in N.Ireland ,but i left home in 1971 and have lived in Swansea since then .This is a great site as i really loved my time at Elmgrove and spent ,i think, the happiest days of my schooling there.

I just looked at the girls on line, I think thats me second on the right with the bow, The Mary something in the second row is Mary Quinn,( Flora Street) and Heather (singer) was probably Heather Mc Clinton (Grand Parade). Joan Reid (Abbetta Parade) was beside me,
