Hello: Greetings from Toronto, Canada. I'm just new on the internet and have been fascinated by the information contained therein.
I lived in Belfast until 1952 when my family and I came to Toronto. Elmgrove was my first school - I believe from 1940 to 1943 - when I was evacuated to the country during the war, then upon returning home from the country, I went to Strandtown School.
I don't remember too too much about Elimgrove, but when I checked it on the website and saw the lovely picture, it really did bring back memories.
I have more memories of Strandtown School, I guess because I was older then.
Just thought I would drop by and say "Hello" and I hope everyone is well and doing fine.
Take care.
