P4 have been living Healthy Lives this week! Taking an aspect of health each day, we’ve been learning about staying healthy, eating well, taking exercise, getting enough sleep and exploring ways of securing our mental health. We’ve walked and ran a mile around the school grounds each day as part of this and have enjoyed discussions and activities around how we can look after our bodies. We made smoothies by pedal power, said ‘Thank you’ to people who help us and had a work out with a circuits session! We even shared all this with the whole school when Mrs McVittie helped us take assembly.
