Jambo! That’s hello in Swahili! We are really enjoying our current topic about Kenya. Mr Donald made some traditional Kenyan food for P4McV to taste test today! We loved the traditional beef stew (nyama choma) and bread (chapati) but we weren’t big fans of the sweet potatoes and vegetables (irio)! We all liked the sweet ugali and tropical fruit! The mangoes and pineapples were our favourite – but nobody liked papaya! We’ve also been learning to play the djembe – a big African drum. Life in P4 at the minute is very ‘hakuna matata’!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
