Dear Sir,
I'm a former pupil of Elmgrove, my name is Tom Brown and I lived not too far from Elmgrove in Isoline street ( number 73 to be precise) and was born 24 /07/37 which means that I was about 4 years old during the blitz. I remember Junior infants and Senior infants and a few of the teacher's names such as Scott (nicknamed 'Tarzan' for some reason), Annie bluedrawers, I think her name was Annie Archer, Mr. McIntyre, who was my teacher at the time of the first Intelligence Test (I.Q.) now known as the '11 plus'.
I could write to you further on my early days at Elmgrove, but would be pleased to know if you are interested.
Best regards
Tom Brown
