Welcome to Year 3!
After a great start to 2020 exploring our topic 'Let's Celebrate'. We explored how we celebrate significant events and how people from other cultures celebrate. We finished off with an exciting visit to St Donards to learning about the church and what happens at a Christening.
We are now ready to move onto our new topic 'What is Nature?' We will be learning all about wildfowl and migration on our trip to Castle Espie and exploring our fantastic school grounds to find signs of Spring.
Primary 3 had a busy Autumn term covering their 'School's Cool' and 'Safe and Sound' topic as well as practicing for our fantastic nativity. We learnt about the materials our school is built from and how to identify them; we created our class charters and did some fantastic writing about our classes as well as demonstrating our super skills as amazing artists by sketching our school and painting our self portraits.
